BIO
Gabriela Lima da Cunha was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1995. She lives and works in Kiel, Germany. In 2023 she completed her MA in Fine Arts at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel – Germany with a scholarship from the DAAD. In her artistic research she is interested to investigate the idea of landscape and its relations to memory and perception through the language of painting and artist books. The paintings are a constellation of memories and experiencies, they are an archive of small moments, places and feelings, sometimes painted in the studio and other times in the nature.
